Have you always wanted to try Yoga, but feel intimidated? Feeling conscious about your body and not sure how or where to start? We believe that Yoga is for everyone, regardless of your shape and size.
Jyan Yoga Studio has specially curated a series of monthly Curvy Yoga classes, designed for plus-size women who are battling with body-image issues to enjoy the health and mental benefits of Yoga. We’ve created a safe space for every body to ‘WORK IN’- your journey towards self-acceptance, confidence and self-love, and to ‘WORK OUT’- with the expertly sequenced Yoga for plus-size bodies, moving and stretching in ways that are accessible for you. This is the perfect time to move into a new level of self-awareness, for you to recharge and melt away from the stresses in life.
LETTER FROM THE INSTRUCTOR:
I have been there. Feeling self-conscious in those skin-hugging tights, Getting lost and confused in my first Yoga class, hoping no one would notice me struggling at the corner.
I’m LT, a certified Yoga Instructor with a focus on body positivity. My mission is to empower curvier ladies to give Yoga a try, to explore new possibilities and see what your body can do for you. I’ve experienced the health and mental benefits through consistent Yoga practice and I would love to share the goodness with you. Allow me to guide you in a comfortable and accepting environment as you embark on your #WorkInWorkOut journey.
