Aimee supports children, adolescents and young adults. She is committed to providing a safe space for her young clients to learn about and explore their thoughts and emotions whilst navigating various life events. She understands that our children and teens can face a number of difficulties at school and at home. Aimee draws on elements of CBT (Cognitive Behaviour Therapy) and ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) in her work. She also makes use of the Zones of Regulation and Social Thinking frameworks to inform her emotional regulation teachings with her clients. Aimee has experience supporting neurodiverse clients with presentations such as ADHD and autism diagnoses.
Aimee is committed to providing a safe space for clients to discuss and explore their concerns. She adopts a client centred approach, working in collaboration with each client by using elements of various evidence-based approaches according to the clients needs. She draws on modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Schema Therapy.
Aimee supports individuals experiencing depression, relationship difficulties, anxiety, grief, stress, poor self-esteem and other emotional dysregulation concerns.
