Cissy is a Clinical Psychologist who is accredited with the Singapore Register of Psychologists and the New Zealand Psychologist’ Board. She is also a full member of the Singapore Psychological Society.
Prior to moving to Singapore, she worked in the New Zealand public healthcare system in a specialised eating disorders service and in community adult mental health. Primarily working with older children, adolescents and young adults, her areas of interest and experience are in working with emotional disorders, including issues such as anxiety, depression and emotional regulation.
She is competent in forming strategies for personality disorders and in managing risk, including cases involving self-harm or suicidal ideation. She particularly likes working with adolescents and young adults to navigate developmental issues, including identity formation, self-esteem and relationships. She has a specialised interest in working with clients with eating disorders such as anorexia and bulimia.
