Master of Psychology (Clinical)
Durgah is a certified Clinical Psychologist. Her professional qualifications include
Bachelor of Social Sciences in Psychology (Honours) obtained at Nanyang
Technological University and Master in Clinical Psychology obtained at the University
of Singapore (NUS).
Durgah was previously part of a community based team, providing therapy and psychological assessments for children, adolescents, families, and schools. She has worked with children and adolescents who face emotional, behavioural or learning difficulties such as depression, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. She is trained in a range of therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, DNA-V (Youth model of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), Schema Therapy, and Incredible Years (Parenting).
She values the process of understanding the unique needs of each child or adolescent, and their families, and providing an integrative client centered approach that suits these needs. She is passionate about empowering clients in a validating, and collaborative environment.
