Melrose Care employs Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (TF-CBT) with the aim to reduce trauma symptoms and related emotional and behavioural symptoms amongst children and youths with trauma history and/or adverse childhood experience(s), to prevent intergenerational transmission of disadvantages.
- This programme is provided on a complimentary basis to service users who meet the eligibility criteria.
- Other clients in the main Melrose Care programme who do not meet the eligibility criteria for NCSS-funded component will have to pay a fee on a sliding scale based on income per capita.
Who is this for?
Children, youth and families in need of art therapy and play therapy, as well as psychological assessment and treatment.
What to expect?
Service users will have to go through an intake assessment after which the staff in charge will propose suitable service(s).
