Mona obtained her Masters degree in Clinical Psychology from James Cook University (Singapore). She is a registered clinical psychologist with the Singapore Psychological Society. During her previous work as a school psychologist, she had extensive clinical experience in conducting psychological assessment and behavioral interventions for children, in particular those with Intellectual Disability and Autism. She also conducted several training workshops for teachers and caregivers on behavioral management strategies for children with special needs.

Mona is accredited as a Master Solution Focused Practitioner. She is also a Triple P (Positive Parenting Practices) Practitioner and provides parent coaching to help parents understand, prevent and manage developmental, cognitive, social and emotional issues that may arise in their children at various developmental stages from toddler to adolescence. Mona is also trained in cognitive behavioral therapy, play therapy and reality therapy. She adopts a flexible therapeutic approach in order to meet the diverse needs of each client and their families. Her clinical experience includes children and adolescents who suffers from anxiety, depression, school related problems (eg. teasing and bullying, school refusal), Autism and other pervasive developmental disorders, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), conduct disorder, divorce, bereavement and other child related behavior issues. Mona also conducts group therapy sessions to tailor to the needs of children with ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Anxiety and other social related difficulties.
