Bachelor of Arts from University of Melbourne, Honours in Psychology from The Australian National University and is currently completing her Masters degree in Clinical Psychology at National University of Singapore (NUS).
Yining works with children, adolescents, and adults with a variety of concerns. She works collaboratively with the client to discover therapeutic goals, reframe maladaptive cognitions, develop healthy coping strategies, while reinforcing existing strengths of clients.
After completing her degree in Australia, Yining joined the Psychological Medicine team in Tan Tock Seng Hospital in Singapore. She was involved in research on Electroconvulsive Therapy, and later worked with patients in the outpatient clinic of National Centre for Infectious Diseases. She seeks to empower her clients in overcoming their emotional struggles, and developing self-compassion in their daily lives
