• Providing quality care and treatment for persons with various mental health and addiction issues; eg alcohol and substance abuse disorders
  • Conducting assessments, diagnosis, and providing pharmacological treatments
  • Prescribing medication and monitoring for side effects and medication efficacy
  • Leading and supervising a multidisciplinary care team which includes clinical psychologists and addiction counsellors
  • Collaboration with mental health professionals and organisations to improve client care
  • Contribute to mental health promotion programmes and psychological duties within the organisation


  • Registrable with the Singapore Medical Council as a specialist
  • 5 years minimum post-residency experience in addictions
  • Thorough understanding of pharmacology as it relates to individuals with addiction and mental health issues
  • Ability to perform age-appropriate assessments on clients
  • Able to interact effectively with clients of diverse educational, socioeconomic and ethnic backgrounds, skill levels and value systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communications, listening, and social skills
  • Compassionate about helping clients and using clinically proven protocols
  • Thrive in a collaborate environment and able to work together with a multi-disciplinary team to treat complex cases
