Singapore Anglican Community Services is the community service arm of the Diocese of Singapore. It is a major psychiatric rehabilitation service provider in Singapore. It also offers care services for families-in-crisis and seniors to age-in-place. Job Role: To provide administrative assistance to the Centre’s finance and administration office.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Accounts Receivable:
– Assist clients and caregivers in billing matters, preparation of invoices and collections
– Collate data and verify data for Ageing Report
– Prepare Giro applications
– Prepare Bank-in Summary Report

Accounts Payable:
– Receive invoice/documents, etc and despatch to various departments for verification/approval
– Ensure Purchase Requisitions/Approval forms are in order and attached to invoices
– Verify and process clients’ workshop timesheets
– Distribute rehabilitation allowance (cash/cheques) to clients
– Provide Meal Summary Report

Administration:
– Perform clerical duties, including typing, copying, organizing, filing and storing/archiving documents
– In charge of sending out and receiving mail/packages and distributing to relevant departments
– Answering phones, receiving visitors/clients
– Scheduling and coordinating meetings, events, etc.
– Assisting in various daily operations as required

Skills and Experiences

Technical Competencies:

Knowledge and ability in handling administration and some basic bookkeeping work

Core Competencies:

- Good computer skills (Microsoft Office Word and Excel; Gmail)
- Well-organized, courteous and reliable
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Teamwork and collaboration skills

Preferred achievements / characteristics:

- GCE O-Level, Diploma, ITE certificate
- Some experience in administration and bookkeeping preferred
