APCATS is a community-oriented psychogeriatric outreach service. It has two programmes: APCATS Clinical Service (CS) and Regional Eldercare Agencies Partnership (REAP). APCATS Clinical Service (CS) provides assessments and treatments for homebound or frail elderly with mental health disorders. It aims to: Provide mental health services to the elderly who are frail or who have difficulties accessing mental health services; Prevent unnecessary admissions and minimise the length of stay in wards / other inpatient mental health services; Promote ageing-in-place in the community by supporting caregivers and reducing their burden of care. The Association for Music Therapy (Singapore), AMTS, (UEN T07SS0236E) is the professional association for music therapists in Singapore. AMTS was formally registered with Singapore Registry of Societies on 19 September 2007. AMTS is also an organisational member of the World Federation of Music Therapy since 2009. Our Vision All people to have access to quality Music Therapy Services in Singapore. Our Mission To lead the nation in the progress of Music Therapy as a Regulated Allied Health Profession through education and advocacy. Our History The Association for Music Therapy Singapore (AMTS) was founded on 19 September 2007, with eleven members. They were Audrey Ruyters, Chen Hsueh-Lien, Clara Chong, Daphne Phua, Loi Wei Ming (Treasurer), May Clulee, Melanie Kwan (Secretary), Ng Wang Feng (President), Pamela Fisher, Patsy Tan, and Tan Xueli. During the first decade, the initial task was to educate the Singapore public about music therapy and to clear up misconceptions about the field. AMTS also aimed then, and continues to serve as an organisational agency for music therapists based in Singapore. In 2017, AMTS reached its first decade-milestone, and celebrated with a timeline commemorating this achievement!

Attilio Rapisarda is a Clinical Psychologist, working in the psychiatric hospital setting, clinical research and education. Trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Systemic Relational Therapy, Neuropsychological and Psychological Assessment, Research Design and fMRI protocol design and analysis. He currently serve his patients as a Sr Psychotherapist at the Institute of Mental Health. His academic background includes a Bachelor and Master (“Laurea quinquennale”) in Clinical Psychology from the University of Palermo, a Master in Research Methods from the University of Reading, a PhD (“Dottorato”) in Cognitive Neuroscience from the University of Milan Bicocca, and a PsyD (“Scuola di Specializzazione in Psicoterapia”) in Clinical Psychology from the University of Pavia.

About Us Banyan Home @ Pelangi Village is a welfare home for destitute. The Home is accountable to and funded by the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF). We provide food, shelter, medical coverage and other services, for up to 220 male residents with diverse ethnicity, religions and background, most of whom have been diagnosed with psychiatric illness, and who do not have any next-of-kin or family members who can take care of them. Our Programmes We have various programs/ activities such as lion dance, zumba dancing, computer sessions, bingo, gym tonic, basketball arcade, art and craft, pottery classes, outings, etc.

Founded in 2004, One Hope Centre (OHC) is a non-profit social service organisation and a registered Institute of Public Character (IPC) in Singapore. We specialise in helping people affected by behavioural addictions, such as problem gambling and compulsive spending. OHC offers counselling for individuals and families, support groups and group therapy. All our help services are provided free of charge. We also conduct workshops and public seminars on addictions and related issues.

The National Council of Social Service (NCSS) has launched a chatbot to encourage mental health sufferers to seek help. It was launched for the first time as part of its “Beyond the Label” campaign. McCann Worldgroup Singapore, which was the creative agency behind the campaign, helped to develop the Facebook Messenger chatbot named “Belle” together with AI technology partner AiChat. It connects youth, adults and seniors to mental health resources and helplines, as well as educate the public with tips on how to interact and support persons with mental health conditions.
