Melrose Home is a residential home for vulnerable children and youths (6-21 years old) who are experiencing adverse family circumstances or child protection issues. Our team supports residents in their journey of overcoming childhood trauma and building resilience to take on future challenges in life. Our mission is to provide the best care and guidance for our residents through a holistic approach, especially in the areas of cognitive, physical, emotional, and mental development.  We strive to empower our young charges to be morally upright and contributing members of their families and community.

Everyone deserves a place they can feel safe and call ‘home’. However, a few do not have family nor a home to call their own. For such people, the Meranti Home @ Pelangi Village (MH) has been a safe haven. Since 2002, the Home has been providing residential and rehabilitative care for male destitute with psychiatric conditions. Anchored on the approach of empowerment through rehabilitation, our aim is to enhance the quality of life for residents, maximize their potential, and eventually empower them to live independently in the community. To achieve this, a holistic, resident-centric approach is adopted to maximize rehabilitation outcomes for the residents. Resident’s issues are assessed, and individual care plans are developed with specific and measurable goals to track their milestones.

In keeping with the teachings of Sree Narayana Guru, the Sree Narayana Mission (Singapore) {SNM} is a social service agency committed to providing a range of social services for the underserved regardless of race, language, or religion. SNM is a registered, secular society with charity status and is a member of the National Council of Social Services (NCSS). It attained the ‘Institution of Public Character’ (IPC) status in 1987 and has maintained its charter since. SNM is also a proud recipient of the Charity Transparency Awards awarded by the Charity Council. With over 30 years of experience operating a nursing home, SNM branched into other forms of care services for seniors opting to age in the comfort of their own homes. In 2012, the Mission opened its first Senior Care Centre – a daycare centre for elderly residents in Yishun. In 2013 it launched the Enhanced Eldercare Programme and Dementia Day Care Centre @ Woodlands.
