Our History Established in April 2013, Adullam Life Counselling is a registered society that provides counselling, practical support for the individual, and also for the affected family during their financial crisis. The center is currently headed by Mr Wong Kee Soon who has been helping people with debt issues for the past 30 years. The center acts as an intermediary between the helpseekers and their legal creditors by negotiating on a possible repayment plan. We also provide advice and crucial support to those who are troubled by illegal moneylenders(loansharks). We also have a growing team of volunteers who are passionate about helping members of the public to overcome the vicious cycle of excessive borrowing, and have helped with 464 cases for the year 2014. The Alzheimer’s Disease Association (ADA) is a social service agency and is made up of caregivers, professionals and all who are interested in dementia. ADA provides daycare for people with dementia, as well as services such as counselling, support groups, referrals and public education talks. The Association also conducts training and workshops for caregivers.

COMNET Senior Service (COMNET), abbreviated from Community Network, has its humble beginnings from the Befriending Service, initiated in 2007. COMNET’s mission is to support vulnerable and low-income seniors to live independently and actively in the community. It aims to empower seniors to seek life satisfaction with the support of community resources. COMNET operates a total of seven Senior Activity Centres (Rental) (SAC-R) and a Senior Group Home in Sengkang. These centres are supported by case management services under the Senior Activity Centres (Cluster Support) (SAC-CS), Community Case Manager Service (CCMS), Community Resource Engagement and Support Team (CREST) and Befriending Service.
