Dr Soon Siew Peng graduated from her bachelor, master, and doctorate degrees from The University of Melbourne, under an Australian government postgraduate scholarship. She is a full member of the Singapore Psychological Society (SPS), and a registered Clinical Psychologist and board-approved supervisor with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA).
Siew has had a decade of experience in psychology, across both private and public sectors. She started her career in Australia, with her PhD research and clinical practice focused on eating disorders and body image. For five years, she worked as a clinician and program manager of an eating disorder ward at The Geelong Clinic, a psychiatric hospital near Melbourne. She provided individual and group therapy.
After relocating to Singapore in 2016, Siew was a Senior Clinical Psychologist at Changi General Hospital. In her four years there, she expanded her skills to a wide range of psychological issues, including anxiety, depression, personality disorders, and insomnia.
