BBSc (Psychology), MSC (Third wave psychological therapies), Registered Psychologist (Spain), Full member of the Singapore Psychological Society

Cristina holds a Masters of Science Degree in third wave psychological therapies from the International University of Valencia in Spain and a Bachelor of Psychology from the Complutense University in Spain. Additionally she has completed Level 2 Training in Gottman Method couples Therapy. She is a member of the Spanish Association of Psychologist and a full member of the Singapore Psychological Society.

She offers counselling to individual adults and couples for a broad range of issues such as behavioural problems, depression, anxiety, trauma, or relationship problems. In her work with couples she also offers Marathon Counselling,  an intensive form of therapy consisting of 2 consecutive days of work with the couple and is the first in Singapore to do so.

Being an expat herself, she has a deep understanding of the adjustment process and its psychological impact. Additionally, Cristina worked as a market research consultant for 15 years in various enterprises and understands the pressure and issues people have to face in the corporate environment.

Cristina has been trained in CBT (cognitive behaviour therapy), Mindfulness based therapy, ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), DBT (dialectical behaviour therapy), positive psychology, EFCT (Emotionally focused couples therapy) and Schema therapy.

She believes that everyone has the potential to have a fulfilling life and sometimes people need some guidance to find the way. With empathy and tolerance, she helps motivate her clients and provides them with the resources to go through changes and overcome their problems. Cristina provides counselling fluently in English and Spanish.
