Gisela Guttmann is a registered Psychologist in Australia and Singapore. She holds a Masters Degree in Psychoanalytic Theory from The University of Kent, United Kingdom as well as a Bachelor of Psychology and Clinical Psychologist Degree (UFRJ).
Gisela has 23 years of clinical experience and has worked in Brazil, Australia and Singapore. Previously, she worked as a counselling team leader and clinical supervisor for a youth organization in Sydney, Australia as well as a Psychologist Consultant for The Transcultural Mental Health (NSW).
Gisela has been working as a Clinical Psychologist in the private sector in Singapore since 2008 and has joined Alliance in 2010. Her clinical approach is Psychoanalytic/Psychodynamic-oriented, however she also provides consultations and brief psychotherapy. She has vast experience working with young people from multi -cultural backgrounds, adults and children. Her particular interests include cross cultural psychology, “Third Culture kids”, relationship issues and resilience among others.
Gisela also has extensive experience providing mental health support to high achieving individuals. Gisela is also the Psychological Services Associate Director of INSEAD business school in Singapore.
