The Haven is the counselling centre in the School of Counselling in Singapore Bible College. We provide face-to-face counselling for individuals, couples and families seeking help to address relational, emotional and psychological issues in their lives. It is our hope that through counselling, clients will be empowered to manage their issues and experience hope and healing. While our approach stems from Christian values, we respect and serve clients from a variety of cultural backgrounds. Our team consists of both experienced and interns counsellors (who are undergoing rigorous training and supervision).

Founder and principal psychologist at The Integrated Psychology Practice, Shelwyn Tay, holds an Honours (Psychology) degree from the National University of Singapore, and a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology from Macquarie University, Sydney. She is a member of the Singapore Psychological Society (SPS), Australian New Zealand Infertility Counsellors’ Association (ANZICA) and Christian Association for Psychological Studies (CAPS). She has worked in the field of mental health for over a decade and is experienced in treating both adults and children. She enjoys the challenge of helping individuals understand their difficulties and has a particular interest in how beliefs affect health and behavior.
