Raffles Counselling Centre’s services include therapies and medications and range from family and individual counselling to behavioural modification. In addition to professional service on mental health issues, the centre also provides psychological testing for a wide range of needs such as organic brain injuries, IQ and career counselling, psychological profiling for employment, psychiatric legal problems, psychological screening for maids and other psychological testing such as 16PF, MMPI, IQ tests, etc. Our multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists and therapists are trained in couple and family care, child and adolescent services, and art and music therapy. RALITZA PEEVA | PHD (SOCIOLOGY), MASTERS (COUNSELLING) Ralitsa Peeva holds a PhD and Masters in Sociology from The New School for Social Research, USA and a Bachelor of Sociology from Columbia College of South Carolina, USA. Additionally, she has a Masters in Counselling from Monash University, Australia. She has more than 10 years of counselling and coaching experience. Born in Bulgaria, she has lived and worked in various parts of Europe and the United States. She is based in Singapore for 16 years and is a resident specialist at COMO Shambhala, a renowned global brand at the forefront of holistic practices and wellbeing. COMO Shambhala invited Ralista Peeva to join their panel of resident specialist due to her extensive training and experience in the use of specialized methodology, tools and approaches to help clients seek out a holistic approach to balance the mind, heart and physical being through the intelligent combination of modern science and hands-on healing. Ralitsa Peeva works with individuals, couples as well as organizations and believes in tailoring her approach to integrate multiple disciplines and methodology such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and Client Centred Therapy. In 1998, pioneering the vision to embody the Parable of the Good Samaritan, Grace Assembly of God tasked Pastor Calvin Lee to start and lead the Society with a team of four social workers, in serving and reaching out to people at their point of need. In 1999, REACH Family Service Centre was set up at Blk 187 Bishan Street 13. As our work in the community grew, so did our Society. Today, REACH Community Services Society serves our community through 6 community touchpoints: Family Service Centre@Bishan, Family Service Centre@Sin Ming, Youth Powerhouse@Bukit Batok, Counselling Centre@Shunfu, Senior Centre@Jalan Membina and Senior Centre@Bukit Gombak Vista.
