The Institute of Mental Health (IMH) is a 2,000-bed acute tertiary psychiatric hospital situated on a 23-hectare campus at Buangkok Green Medical Park. Psychotherapist/Counsellor, LCSW, MSW, BSW Janice is a licensed psychotherapist in the USA. She holds a Masters degree from the University of Pennsylvania and Bachelors degree from the University of Wisconsin at Madison. Janice has more than 15 years of clinical experience. Previously, she worked in a multi-cultural counselling organisation in California as a licensed psychotherapist and registered supervisor. She counselled individuals, families, and children with different life challenges, including but not limited to depression, stress and anxiety, grief and loss, adjustment problems, PTSD, marital discord, parenting and relationship issues. In addition, she provided advanced trainings and supervision to other clinicians. After relocating from California to Asia, Janice has worked as an EAP psychotherapist, providing counseling to expats and their families dealing with various life challenges faced while being away from their home town. In addition, she has delivered numerous training programs related to work-life balance and stress management. She has provided coaching for corporate management to deal with organisational crisis. As an expat herself living in multiple countries, Janice understands the unique issues faced by expats from her professional and personal experience.
