Optimising Mental Health in our Community Since opening our doors back in 1972, Paul W Ngui Psychiatric Clinic has been among the earliest pioneers in Singapore in the clinical care of patients with stress-related emotional and behavioural symptoms, as well as other psychiatric conditions. With our expertise in mental health, our renamed clinic Ngui Psychiatric Associates continues to provide comprehensive psychiatric and psychological services for the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of the whole spectrum of psychiatric disorders.

We offer specialist consultation for the diagnosis and treatment of: • Mood disorders (such as Depression, Bipolar disorder) • Anxiety disorders (including Panic Disorder and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) • Psychotic disorders (such as Schizophrenia) • Sleep problems • Addictions • Psychological disturbances related to medical or surgical problems • Stress-related (including marital, military and work-related) disorders. • Psychological and behavioural issues in children, adolescents and the elderly • Specific mental wellness issues related to men and women Psychological services such as psychotherapy and intellectual assessments for children, adults and the elderly are available. Eldercare Our Services for Older Persons enhances the psychosocial wellbeing of vulnerable seniors through professional counselling and case management services ensuring holistic care. We also provide linkages to other services when required and work closely with community partners to ensure seamless transitions. Counselling Our Mental Health Services provides professional counselling to adults struggling with mental health issues. OcTAVE (Occupational Therapy: Activities, Vocation and Empowerment) offers a range of outpatient rehabilitation programmes aimed at promoting community independence, providing therapeutic support, nurturing clients’ potential and facilitating their recovery. The programmes are categorised into four major domains, namely Clinical Rehabilitation, Empowerment, Vocational Training and Job Club.

OTR Listens is an online support platform and cathartic outlet for youth and young adults aged 13 to 35 years old to share their emotions, feelings, issues, concerns, challenges, and aspirations via a real-time textbased chat service and sharing with the community.
