Ms Terri Chen Lead & Senior Psychologist Terri graduated with her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (Hons) from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and completed her MPsych in Clinical Psychology from the joint programme between the University of Melbourne (UM) and the National University of Singapore (NUS). She is a Registered Psychologist with the Singapore Register of Psychologists, and a member of the Singapore Psychological Society. Terri currently works with adolescents and adults, both in individual and group formats of psychological therapies, with an Interpersonal and Cognitive Behavioral approach to lessen individuals’ psychological distress. She also conducts neuropsychological assessments. Terri has a special interest in group psychotherapy, as well as clinical research.

We now carry the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Second Edition (ADOS-2), which our child psychologist is certified to administer. It is viewed as the “gold standard” for observational assessment of autism spectrum disorders (ASDs) and provides a highly accurate picture of current symptoms, unaffected by language. It can be used to evaluate almost anyone suspected of having ASD, from 1-year-olds with no speech to adults who are verbally fluent.

The Haven is the counselling centre in the School of Counselling in Singapore Bible College. We provide face-to-face counselling for individuals, couples and families seeking help to address relational, emotional and psychological issues in their lives. It is our hope that through counselling, clients will be empowered to manage their issues and experience hope and healing. While our approach stems from Christian values, we respect and serve clients from a variety of cultural backgrounds. Our team consists of both experienced and interns counsellors (who are undergoing rigorous training and supervision).
