Dr Anu Dutt is a licensed psychologist (United States and Singapore). She has worked extensively for children with profound developmental disabilities that engage in severe behavioural problems. Before joining NIE, she pursued her post-doctoral fellowship at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine – Kennedy Krieger Institute and worked in the Neuro-Behavioural Inpatient Unit until July 2011. Dr. Dutt also worked as a Behaviour therapist at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Prior to her stint in the United States, she worked as a psychologist at the National Resource Centre for Inclusion in India and as a research assistant in a UNICEF funded project on providing pre-school inclusive education to marginalised children in the urban slums of Mumbai, India.

A real-time chat service that targets the hidden youth population in Singapore who are aged between 11 and 18 years old to share their troubles anonymously (peer issues, bullying, or family conflicts etc).    

Since our establishment in 1997, EMCC (Eagles Mediation & Counselling Centre) has endeavoured to bring hope to broken relationships. We believe the Singaporean society at large benefits from the development of strong marriages and healthy families. For couples and families who want to repair or strengthen their relationships, EMCC uses evidence-based methodologies to help them manage conflicts healthily and improve their relationships. This is done through our range of services: mediating disputes, providing marital and family counselling, and conducting educational workshops. We are also actively developing upstream initiatives towards the prevention and early detection of psychoemotional and relational problems. EMCC is one of the few agencies with the expertise to be a one-stop centre for relational restoration and wellness. We provide both mediation and psycho-therapy as a holistic and integrated approach to addressing relational disputes or difficulties. EMCC is a full member of the National Council of Social Service (NCSS) and an approved Institution of Public Character (IPC).

Jaque Ng, I began my work in community services by participating as a volunteer for nearly 20 years. In 2011, I enrolled to study a Master in Counselling and took courage to start a journey to serve full time in community services. With knowledge and skills I have obtained from my counselling and training & development programs, I could deliver my counselling service effectively. From a volunteer to a fulltime counsellor, I found this journey was a humbled experience. It taught me to listen with my heart, to show my compassion and to stay attune to my passion towards those who I met, clients, caregivers and those serving in this work. Having to say been in this community services work for decades, I learnt that this is a kind of work requires continued learning, not only upgrading knowledge and skills, also from people I meet in all walks of life. Thereafter, I will integrate my collective learnings and use them in my practice to benefit those people I serve. Nonetheless, I do take pride of my counselling practice because I love my work and I strive to have good, positive and perseverance attitudes to deliver my service.

I am a registered psychologist in France, with the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI) and the Singapore Psychological Society (SPS). Previously, I was a Principal Psychologist at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Singapore.
