Hi, my name is Sophia. I am a professional counsellor and psychotherapist based in Singapore. I am deeply committed to helping individuals like you lead successful, fulfilling, and well-meaning lives – no matter where you are starting from. I provide professional counselling services and psychotherapy services for teenagers and adults to help them overcome life challenges and flourish as individuals. My counselling approach is based on a range of effective evidence-based approaches such as Mindfulness and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Through personalized counselling treatment plans, we will work together in a safe, private environment to achieve your personal goals.

We provide art psychotherapy for a variety of clients conducted by our registered art therapists, who have at minimum Masters qualification in Art Therapy and at least 750hrs of supervised clinical hours. We aim to provide ethical and competent art therapy services. We are passionate about serving the most vulnerable segments of society who is most in need of support, through safe, respectful, empathetic art psychotherapy interventions to build resilience. We believe strongly in a holistic and multidisciplinary approach in coordinating the best possible care for our clients. SomethingNew App by Singapore Planned Families Association aims to provide accessible and free text counselling to individuals in Singapore. With over 150+ Professionals and volunteering Counsellors/Practitioners (as of June 2022), the App strives to be the bridge to destigmatize mental health discussions and link individuals to the most appropriate and beneficial mental health resources possible as well as to ensure immediate assurance in the most private and confidential manner via Text Counselling.

In keeping with the teachings of Sree Narayana Guru, the Sree Narayana Mission (Singapore) {SNM} is a social service agency committed to providing a range of social services for the underserved regardless of race, language, or religion. SNM is a registered, secular society with charity status and is a member of the National Council of Social Services (NCSS). It attained the ‘Institution of Public Character’ (IPC) status in 1987 and has maintained its charter since. SNM is also a proud recipient of the Charity Transparency Awards awarded by the Charity Council. With over 30 years of experience operating a nursing home, SNM branched into other forms of care services for seniors opting to age in the comfort of their own homes. In 2012, the Mission opened its first Senior Care Centre – a daycare centre for elderly residents in Yishun. In 2013 it launched the Enhanced Eldercare Programme and Dementia Day Care Centre @ Woodlands.
