Clinical Psychologist working with adolescents and adults. Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, Bachelor of Social Sciences (Hons) Dr Cherie Chan graduated with a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Hons) from the National University of Singapore (NUS) and holds a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Murdoch University, Australia. She is the current President of the Singapore Psychological Society (SPS) and a registered psychologist with the Singapore Register of Psychologists (SRP). With nearly a decade of experience in public and private mental health settings across Singapore and Australia, Cherie has worked extensively with adolescents and adults presenting with a range of psychological issues, including depression, anxiety, personality disorders and trauma. In her most recent role as a Senior Clinical Psychologist at Ng Teng Fong General Hospital (NTFGH), she supported individuals with comorbid mental health and chronic health conditions such as pain, diabetes, heart failure, stroke and insomnia. She has helped to develop and conduct group support programmes for individuals with chronic health conditions, and given multiple workshops and talks on the management of mental health issues to healthcare professionals and the public.

Jocelyn has been in the helping profession for more than 18 years. She began her career as a Rehabilitation Officer at the Singapore Prison Service before joining the Ministry of Education (MOE) as a trained secondary school teacher. She subsequently undertook her Master degree in Educational Psychology (University College London, UK) as a recipient of the MOE postgraduate scholarship. Following that, she served as a Senior Specialist at the Psychological Services Branch of MOE and delivered a range of services to primary and secondary schools. This included providing psycho-educational assessments and consultations to parents, teachers and school leaders to help support children with learning difficulties and special educational needs. Desiring to extend her support to individuals with mental health concerns, Jocelyn subsequently left MOE to complete her doctorate in Clinical Psychology and Clinical Geropsychology at the University of Queensland (Australia) under the Endeavour Postgraduate Award. Aside from direct support of individuals with learning and psychological concerns, Jocelyn’s passion is in caregiver support. Senior Consultant Psychiatrist & Psychotherapist, MBBS (UK), MRCPsych, Post Qualification Certificate in Cognitive Therapy (UK), FAMS Dr. Ung has been in the practice of psychiatry for about 27 years since 1988. His areas of specialty include child and adolescent psychiatry, forensic psychiatry and psychotherapy.
