The Alzheimer’s Disease Association (ADA) is a social service agency and is made up of caregivers, professionals and all who are interested in dementia. ADA provides daycare for people with dementia, as well as services such as counselling, support groups, referrals and public education talks. The Association also conducts training and workshops for caregivers.

Amanda is well versed with various International education systems (such as British, American, and Australian) and the requirements of each educational system and environment. She is also familiar with requirements for local Singapore schools and MOE rules and regulations. Andrea obtained her Masters degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Melbourne and is a registered psychologist in Australia. Before returning to Singapore, Andrea worked in outpatient clinics and government schools in Melbourne, Australia. As a result, Andrea is familiar with both the Singaporean and Australian education systems. Within her work, Andrea has had extensive experience in working with children with specific learning disabilities (e.g. ADHD, dyslexia), autism spectrum disorder, and social/emotional difficulties. Working at clinics and schools has provided Andrea with experience in conducting psychological assessments for the diagnosis of disorders as well as creating individual education plans to support children with developmental and learning disorders. COMNET’s mission is to support vulnerable and low-income seniors to live independently and actively in the community. It aims to empower seniors to seek life satisfaction with the support of community resources. COMNET operates a total of seven Senior Activity Centres (Rental) (SAC-R) and a Senior Group Home in Sengkang.
